DROP presents Phoenix UV-LASER with 96 laser digital direct imaging for high quality printing plates for almost any printing process such as screen printing, offset as well as film imaging. Phoenix is the future-proof solution for the production of high-quality printing plates for industrial applications with optimum efficiency. The unique Laser & DMD exposing system guarantees, mainly for the production of coated screens, producible qualities with reliable service time in the printing press. The Laser exposing system with HD DMD enables a perfect surface and depth of cure hardening of the screen emulsions used. The EOM values remain largely stable before and after processing.

More energy reserves from standard 96 focused laser (optional 2 x 96 laser) to one beam for e.g. thick emulsion layers or slow diazo UV polymer emulsions in combination with yellow polyester fabrics for optimal emulsion crosslinking and for high screen life in best reproducibility.

The sharpness of the edges has been increased once again and leaves no requirements unfulfilled, even in security printing.

The UV laser technology in connection with our variably adjustable High Definition DMD chip allows to cover all needs of the of the screen user. Due to the HD DMD exposure, each pixel is exposed up to 1080 times for optimal crosslinking of the emulsion.

In the event of a failure of a laser diode, the Phoenix with its bundled laser beam, there will be no missing exposure stripes.

Exposure system with the best performance in terms of speed, resolution and curing of the emulsion.

Automatic predictive autofocus easily detects thickness- differences in the emulsion or other unevenness and optimally compensates for them.

Resolution 2400 dpi / 2540 dpi or 5080 dpi. Other resolutions on request.

Formats

The Phoenix UV laser direct imagesetter is available in three formats: Phoenix 800 with an exposure format of 600 mm x 800 mm, Phoenix 1000 with 800 mm x 1000 mm exposure size and the high-end Phoenix 1400 system images printing forms up to a size of 1150 mm x 1400mm. In addition, all three systems an optional Z-axis adjustment is available. This drive enables objects of over 100 mm thickness to be accommodated.

Efficient and Safe Production

The powerful UV - Laser HD DMD exposure system enables perfect surface and depth curing of the emulsion in one exposure pass. This is particularly useful for thick film screens as well as screens with required long screen lifetimes. The specially developed optical lens system and a predictive focus system guarantee optimum sharpness drawing for pressure-sharp edges.

The exclusive predictive autofocus detects in advance of exposure and thickness differences from the printing form in advance of exposure and compensates for them with an adjusted exposure focus and always guarantees a perfect depth of focus of the laser beam during exposure.

Investment Protection

The flatbed imagesetter is easy to operate and can easily be adapted to future requirements. Customer-specific register systems, special receptacles for unusual screen frame shapes and formats can be adaptable on site. The design of the Phoenix UV laser direct imagesetters stands for highest investment protection and with the future-oriented HD DMD chip technology, the imagesetters achieve top marks in flexibility as well as productivity. An active cooling system ensures a long service life of chip and light system.
